5 latinos killed by police in last two weeks

Like an any diverse minority group (including black folks) you're going to have individuals who try to blend in to white society and parrot white supremacist rhetoric. I've seen it before. The lighter skinned the better, as they are accepted more (which is different from Black folks, who cannot be accepted fully).

But this isn't some widescale phenomenon. Only truly privileged Latinos can fully benefit from white "acceptance". It doesn't change the fact that a vast majority of Latinos have to deal with racism and problems associated with it, including the added fold of immigration and legal status.

So only a few, not most and or all

Yeah but even within your communities you see the Afro Latinos and natives Systemically oppressed within these Latin counties. Its sad becuase you don't see Afro / natives represented like that. They are not offered the opportunities to advance the like the lighter skin / white ones. A lot (scratch that all) of the countries in Latin American were built on the backs of slavery / white supremacy.

I'm speaking in general. I've had about 5 hispanic friends come to me talking about police brutality against latinos. Make some noise about it then instead of looking for BLM movements to speak on it.

Well you have to understand race and how it classified in America. A lot of y'all are classified as white in America. Your community classified as white. Even thought much of your pop is mestizo. Many of you all should be checking the mixed race box or Native American box. Y'all in need understand race in your community and white supremacy in your own communities before to can tackle the police problems in america.
