If he's truly carving his own legacy the why would he NOT be going to 175 permanently? Why wouldn't he be going for titles there instead of going back to 168 and putting himself back in a position for the "Canelo is slowing his career" excuse..

Who else is there.

Morrlel goin to 175 too iirc

His 2 step up fights - were both top P4P fighters in the world. Losing to prime Canelo and Beterbiev, don't make you a hack

Bivol/Beterbiev winner won't be settled, until late this year, or early next yr.

Benavidez needs another opponent for later this year. Smith is available and makes alot of sense
Makes him a hack because he lost to Ryder and they claimed he didnt. He's European hype.

that would be the smart move.. for some reason you have people saying he should fight Gvozdyk then go back to 168 :dwillhuh:
Yea I'm still waiting for dude to respond to you. What's the rationale, of moving up to fight Gvozdyk, if your intentions are at 168

Canelo back in his prime. Fast. Sharp. Great stamina. great defense. Combinations. Went toe to toe with a young strong warrior. He'll have an easier time with David. Mark my words. David doesn't have mungias chin. Canelo gonna flat line him.
yea people giving Mungia a lot of participation points in here but after the first 2-3 rounds I thought the fight was easy work for Canelo. He barely had to go into another gear and looked pretty fresh late in the fight. Definitely came away after this fight thinking he may do better than I thought against Benavidez

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Naw because he also realizes canelo aint fighting him either. Aint no moving up a weight class to chase one man, without a belt. Stop it.

So many excuses for Canelo and his b level fighter tour. Yall got it, cant wait for that berlanga fight.
Well he literally said it himself.. He not saying what you are saying.

He beat Ryder.. But If you feel that differently, that's cool.. But Smith is the best available opponent for Benavidez later this year.

Smith is still a Ali Trophy winner, former ring magazine champ, and wba. Hes more credible then anyone else available. Not to add.. Canelo claimed Smith was the best in that division. That adds more to it. Benavidez vs Smith would be a good late year fight

Saudis seem to want benevidez vs beterbiev unless there ks a rematch clause for the undisputed fight

Didn't even realize canelo told him to come inside :wow: .....Canelo wants that scalp. This gonna be drake vs Kenny. All that "come outside" shyt gonna blow up in their faces when they get in the ring and realize canelo is really different.
