I dont want Turner anywhere near "All Elite Wrasslin"

im not sure if you're joking or not, no hate

you know Warner owns Turner now and has for some time now right

so we talking about the same people who own HBO and used to own the Hawks (not saying the hawks are great, but I'm talking about pro sports production)

the thing im most interested in is really seeing a promotion start from complete scratch.

I'm :flabbynsick: , was 10 years old at WM X. I dont ever remember just watching a promotion start from the literal beginning. gonna be super interesting to see I think

You didn't watch any TNA from the beginning during those beginning Asylum days?

I definitely was watching early, but not the very start. I think at first they were doing weekly ppv if I remember correctly. I knew who was there, but didn't really follow it heavy till it was on spike (plus at the time I was working at spike)

im just interested to see if they're gonna do stuff like tournaments in the beginning for all the belts, stuff like that.

very interested in the details and how they're gonna choose to present all this stuff.

like will they have vignettes that are basically Being The Elite shorts that they'll air during the shows, or will they keep like a supplement to the Tuesday Night Dynamite (or whatever they end up calling it)

After watching the latest episode of Being The Elite are they leading to book Joey Janela vs Scott Steiner and Cody vs MJF?

Don't know about Steiner/Janela, but Cody/MJF probably not. On the "Road to Double or Nothing" videos, they've hinted at Cody's opponent being someone who hasn't been announced as a part of AEW yet.

Kota Ibushi Says He Turned Down AEW Deal, Wants To Wrestle Exclusively For NJPW | Fightful Wrestling

Speaking to ShuPro (translation via NJPW commentator Chris Charlton), Ibushi discussed the deal and turning down an offer from AEW.

‘I want to wrestle exclusively for New Japan. If I can, I want to be on every card, every tour," said Ibushi. “AEW said they just want me in their ring in some form. The ideal for them was for me to move to America and be there full time. I turned them down just after Wrestle Kingdom. If I went it would be the end of my career. There wouldn’t be anywhere else to go after that. No step up, nothing left to do. That would be the last step to make, and after that things would just go down. Great money, but I want to keep developing.”

Ibushi continued, "What I realized (talking to AEW) was I really don’t care about money"

In the same interview, Ibushi stated that he has not spoken to Kenny Omega privately since Wrestle Kingdom on Jan. 4 and that Omega was not part of his negotiation with AEW. Ibushi has not wrestled since his Wrestle Kingdom 13 bout against Will Ospreay, but is scheduled to take part in the upcoming New Japan Cup. The winner of the NJ Cup will challenge Jay White for the IWGP Heavyweight Title at NJPW-ROH G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden.

Kota a real one
