Finally finished this show and thought it was excellent overall. Gawdust carrying his brother to a classic and getting his due:blessed:

The production was great all night for the most part. I can't help but think that after 20 years in business that Impact/RoH should've made it to this level with the money they've had access to:francis:

All the matches delivered. Hangman Reigns push is gonna be fun:lolbron:

Moxley looks rejuvenated. MJF had a money heat promo. Teasing the Bucks being washed is good development especially if they can tone down the spot, spot, spot kickout style to add substance to the plot direction. Hyped for the Rhodes vs Bucks match next month which I'm sure will continue this angle with Dustin's mortality as a barometer. Lastly, i like their tables look and break different. Little things like that separate them from having a homogenized aesthetic. :ehh:

people absolutely would sign up for a Network at $8-15 a month verses paying $50 for one PPV. especially knowing that more and more stuff and events are coming every month. also hence why I said they should have been filming content for their own network for months now.

HELL NO. they don't have any content.

and then you say $15 a month? I just copped impact-plus for half of that.

He's from the earliest days of PWG. I definitely have to give props to the Bucks for making sure all their friends get paid: Scorpio, Excalibur, Rick Knox, a mother fukking Cutler Brother. :wow:

Cody saw it first. Gotta give him props. MJF rich a$$hole character works.

cody saw what first?

you need to join us in the MLW threads.

that part on the pre-show when the tranny was bouncing his ass :hhh::dame: into Dreamers face :scust:

lol.

sonny kiss is not a tranny.

hes just really really gay.

Jericho needs to be the first champion to establish AEW.

to establish what?

that would be an awful look.

MJF is basically Miz eh?

no

hes an EC3 clone.

Going to NXT was a terrible move. Same for ACH.

i figured ACH was a vince signing. vince prolly wet his pants over him.
but i assumed ACH & kushida were gonna be the new faces of 205 live - a show which now looks lifeless & gutted, by the way.

i liked the Strickland move to NXT because i though AEW's roster was gonna be more top-heavy than it is.
i can still see Strickland in NXT picking up where he left off in MLW.

Willie Mack deserves to be a bigger star

willie just signed that impact deal.

hes good where hes at.

Its too clean and sterile. Perfect for corporate sponsors and casual fans, bad for diehard wrestling fans.

The presentation hasn't been updated in years either, and I'm not talking about that dimming the lights for the 3rd hour bullshyt from last week.

Wish I was a fly on that wall to see the beards try interacting with porn stars and Instagram thots in Vegas on one of the busiest weekends of the year.

Watched most of the show last night. Will finish it later.

Battle royal was sloppy fun. Orange Cassidy's deal was amusing. Is Luchasaurus any good? If so, I say drop the comedy gimmick and let him be AEW's resident monster.

Guevara vs Sabian was good. Guevara is amazing.

SCU vs Stronghearts was great. Daniels was amped up and Scorpio is on another level. Either Cody or the Bucks recently mentioned Scorpio will be a major player for AEW in time.

Women's four way was surprisingly good. I don't like that Brandi is doing the "I'm a face in real life, but a heel in the rasslin world" thing like Stephanie does. It's weird. I love Kylie.

Best Friends vs Angelico and Evans was really good but I don't give a fukk about those Smash Bros. lames. Even the crowd didn't know who they were and isn't that the type of crowd that should?

Joshi match was decent. I need more Hikaru Shida in my life :noah: and that little magic girl was entertaining.

Cody vs Dustin was amazing. Not sure if there will be any other match this year that can top that story and emotion. The blood :damn:, the crowd, brother vs brother, generation vs generation, Cody being a little shyt head, Dustin as the tired, broken veteran having one last run, the ghost of Dusty hanging over it all.... :ohlawd: :mjcry:

Seeing Bret was great. MJF has had "it" since MLW and will be a big star for AEW. Belt looks good. Looks like Jungle Boy and Jimmy Havoc will get a lot of airtime in AEW. :obama:

Marvez is not good at all. He doesn't know enough about wrestling and he's not smooth or bombastic enough to be the salesman they are wanting him to be. Let him host an AEW podcast or something and keep him away from the commentator booth. :camby:

I think JR sounded the best he has in years but he still doesn't need to be out there. Use him as a consultant for talent and booking and that should be it. It's Excalibur's time.

I thought it was for all full time employees but I could be wrong. Jericho got a huge offer apparently, also Jim is said to have the biggest commentator deal ever. They have big money too so the pay is probably decent. That's true. have to judge more when they do the weekly show, but a promising start, they do have that fresh feel at the moment.
Cody said that AEW will have the same policy as WWE regarding injuries sustained by wrestlers while performing for the company
att Jackson responded that “the big thing about All Elite is that we want to take care of the boys… The executives are going to have benefits and stuff, and they’re going to get taken care of. We’re in the day one process and we’re working on it, but yeah, that’s definitely a plan.” His response to if talent [in addition to himself, his brother, Cody, and Brandi Rhodes, all also executives] might get health insurance “one day” was “Never say never, really. We’re early on, so we’re creaking open that door barely… hopefully, we can swing it wide open.”

Wrestling Inc. also spoke to AEW President Tony Khan about whether talent would receive benefits. Khan said that “Different people, depending on their level of responsibility within the company, will have different deals… I think there’s a great opportunity for people to gain full-time employment in this company, not just as a wrestler, but also in the front office… We already have a lot of people involved and we’ll definitely be taking care of our employees.

Got two more matches to watch but so far:ehh: very solid production. Ring looks clean and the entrance tunnel thing was dope

Cody vs Dustin was great :wow: needed a slower paced match after so much flippy shyt

Angelico looks like a big dumbass. His attire is just :scust:

Wish Lashley could’ve been there. He fills their monster heel void

So far, I’m interested in seeing their weekly show so I guess the show is a success

Edit: That Moxley pop:whoo: dude is gonna be champ before the weekly shows kick off
