to AEW booking themselves into a corner they should have realized 5 fukking months ago, knowing full well a month ago that PAC wasn't on the card, but waiting until the week before the show to announce it and even then doing it through dirt sheets instead of any of their official outlets

Starrcast, while not officially an AEW event, definitely is AEW adjacent and endorsed, had all of their headliners pulled, had WWE allow them to screen the Bret/Magee holy grail match and then airing a doc and the match on WWE Network a week before, Ric Flair scheduling a surgery the week before the event probably knowing he was not going to be able to make it and his son-in-law who is the organizer for Starrcast saying his health issue was overblown and he's fine and definitely going to be at Starrcast so continuing to promote him being there until a few days later when it's announced no, Ric's condition is pretty serious, he won't be there, and Conrad basically threw him under the bus saying Ric lied to the family about the severity of his health issues with 2 days to find a suitable replacement...after having also lost Kurt Angle and Undertaker. Also note that, much like AEW not announcing their match was off the card through their official channels, Starrcast's website is still promoting Ric appearing at multiple events during the 3 days.

Conrad been on some crooked carny shyt from the get go. The whole Starrcast thing is one big con on these dirty neckbeards. He's done well to cultivate that fake ass "i''m just a fan, guys" nice guy persona. He peddles these ducktails podcasts that these brain dead neckbeards take as gospel, now he's bleeding these same idiots dry with this convention. He's the biggest carny of them all.

Am I the only one that feels like Jericho will be their first AEW Champion? I always felt like Jericho was gonna win this setting up a rubber match with Omega at a later date and I still feel that way with title contention being on the line at the Best Friends not wanting to be in the battle royal and gotten themselves taken out of it only for that match now to be for a contender title shot for the winner

That site usually has the plug for all PPVs. Impact, WWE, UFC, you name it. And they've been uploading a bunch of other AEW stuff lately, so they'll more than likely have a livestream.

A tournament makes a lot more sense, especially when you consider that Hangman & Pac were the main ones talking about being champion but now have no way to make that happen.
To be fair with Pac pulling out of AEW the way he did that kinda derailed either one of them being in the title picture unless Hangman enters the battle royal and wins it.
As for the titles I can see them wanting to establish their main champion as quickly as possible and with them later on using tournaments with establishing their tag team, womens and secondary titles.
