He's not nice in the ring, but look at how many segments they give him just to get old-school heat directly from the fans.

The Brodie Lee/Dark Order stuff looks like comedy compared to how they built Mox/Jericho with spikes to the eye or Cody/MJF with the 10 lashes, cage match, and Diamond Ring segment with DDP.

MJF and Darby Allin are opposite ends of the spectrum where it looks like they're building one toward getting enough heat get MAJOR heat in a big win (or pop in a big loss) and building the other to get enough fans behind a chase to get a MAJOR pop once he wins the big one.

even under normal circumstances PPV’s should always be on Saturday nights. The UFC, boxing, and AEW do it right.

people can lay back and enjoy themselves, drink, have friends over, stay up late, etc. without the dark cloud of Monday morning/work hanging over their heads.
