Dont forget that Fury took Joshua's spot last December instead of fighting Wilder.

Wilder wouldn't sign the fight so yeah they fought and Wilder drew even though most people thought he lost, that fight didn't do much for Wilder at all, most people thought he lost comfortably, obviously profile wise it did a lot but not his reputation. He was largely outboxed for most of the fight, against an out of shape Fury coming off a lay off, they thought they could catch him at a good time when he was out of shape but it kind of backfired.

Usyk would and eventually will box Wilder's head off

Usyk is a dark horse, boxing wise he could compete with anybody, but he's got a big size disadvantage even though he's beaten bigger men before, if he can hack the size difference he could be a huge problem to both of the big 2 and Fury he will definitely be a big problem to regardless cause Fury doesn't have the punching power the other 2 do. It's all in how he will adapt at heavyweight consistently now, especially to the giants of the division. There's a chance he can't hack it because the size and power is just too much to overcome, if he can somehow then he's a legit threat. Would love to see him against Wilder and Fury, even AJ eventually would be a very interesting fight, he could outpoint AJ potentially if he avoids the shots, so I hope AJ vs Wilder happens before the Usyk fight.

AJ does more than that on PPV in a smaller country, hard to justify 50/50 if those numbers are accurate.

PPVs on Sky Sports are the equivalent of about $25. PPVs in the US for major events are three times that and higher. A packed Wembley is dwarfed by major boxing events in Vegas from decades ago with crowds in the low teens. The majority of the seats in the nose bleeds are about $40.

990K is the equivalent of viewership of Showtime's third best show, Ray Donovan. The fight had to compete with a Western Conference NBA playoff game and a UFC Fight night event. The fight never had a chance to peak over 990k since it was over in the first round.

Compare Joshua's showtime numbers to Wilder's.

Smaller country ain't paying $75 for a ppv at 5 in the morning either.

Joshua Wilder and Fury are the clear top draws, trying to say one is a bigger draw than another at this point is like splitting hairs. The only real high profile and high viewership fights are against one another. Unless these fighters start drawing abysmal numbers or beat one another, there won't be a clear A side.

Charles Martin reportedly got $6 million for Joshua
Miller was supposed to get $5 million before he got caught.
So what is Wilder going to get?

Not only that. Joshua has 0 PPVs in the US while Wilder has 1 million on UK PPV when he fought Fury.

325K+ US PPV ($75*325K = $24.05M) + 1M UK PPV ($25*1M = $25M)

The replay the following week had a higher viewership than Joshua-Klit live.

.

Ultimately it says that more people will pay to watch AJ than watch Wilder for free. Also AJ has earned significantly higher purses than Wilder has. I also heard the tickets for the MSG show are selling for 3 times or more than the price Wilder vs Breazeale did.

Wilder was gonna go to Wales for Joshua Parker.... But Hearn and Joshua refused a post fight face off with Wilder.:francis:

But Wilder supposed to be the scary one right...

They only wouldn't let him do the face off because he didn't sign the fight. They wanted it signed and sealed before face off.

That's because Eddie uses third parties to buy out the tickets so that they can be resold at a higher margin. He got in trouble for that shyt in the UK where he can no longer do that. If Eddie isn't too careful, he'll might be getting a call from the NY AG. He's already on thin ice in the US with the Ali Act (acting as a manager and promoter).

What is up with you guys always talking about ticket sales? I know Wilder is going to knock Joshua smooth the fukk out. Let's talk about that.

I see why some people get defrauded out of their money because of trouble with numbers. Let me make it simple for you. You and I buy the same brand of candles at wholesale prices to sell on Amazon. You sell yours for $3 and I sell mine for $9 with you selling 1,000,000 units and me sell 333,334 units. We both generated almost the same amount of gross revenue.

The 320K is strictly for showtime PPV sales bka $75 each.

Bt sports sold the ppv in the UK bka $20 or £20 ppvs. Showtime and BT sports have two separate ppv viewership numbers.

Wilder also wasn't on free tv vs Breazeale. Showtime is a premium network.

I didn't even bring up the illegal streaming numbers. It's not even close.

The last part is true, neither is Sky Sports though, they are both subscription based. But the AJ fights were PPV and the Wilder vs Breazeale 1 was free to the subscribers.
