with that said, if he doesnt make mistakes and defense/ST plays well...dont see why not

It's possible. But he won't do it on his own. Every aspect of the team has to be great in order to do it. He's not a good QB. His stats are very deceiving.

defenses and winning turnovers wins games, period. especially in the playoffs. so if d can stop offenses, the game will stay close. if games stay close, offense can run at his comfort level.

In the playoffs their goin to have to play a lot of close games ESPICALLY with them being a defensive. In the 4th quarter it's goin to come down to Alex Smith putting up 4th quarter drives every game and, it's just goin to keep getting harder and harder. I think it's a lot to ask for out of him.
