Yes fort worth is a distance from dallas. But all of fort worth isn't the sticks.

shyt you can buy a 450k house in north dallas and it is still twice as big (plus made out of brick and damn near new) than that cracker jack box you saw in NY.

This is what 430k gets you in north dallas (right by everything)

Define "right by everything" for me. You mean it's like a 5 minute drive from downtown or something?

If Savannah were poppin' like Atlanta as a destination for Black people from North Florida, Georgia's Black population would be 4 million or 5 million, easily.

Columbus is right on the Alabama border. If it ever gets poppin' as a draw for Black people from Alabama, Georgia's population would be in the 6 million range, breh.

Texas is helped in that DFW, as a major metroplex, draws Black people from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Northern Louisiana. Houston serves to draw Black people from Southern Louisiana. Plus, Katrina helped boost its numbers.

Georgia really only has Atlanta.

Imagine if a hurricane were to devestate Northern Florida somehow. Where do you think those people would go?

Dallas draws blacks from Cali and Illinois to be honest lol

I rather pay public transportation than deal with car payments, maintenance, insurance, gas, traffic.

What's wrong with having a car :dwillhuh:

Chicago is known for having reliable public transportation but there's nothing like having wheels

Yet 55% of African Americans live in the south and are moving back there based on migration trends:hula:

They're moving down south to reuinite with family breh.

I have no such ties down there as my family are recent immigrants living here in the tri-state. and so far outside of cheap real estate for more land, I'm not very impressed with what it offers in comparison to NYC.

You ain't African American, so it doesn't even apply to you

:what:

And many people aren't going down there to reunite with family, they are going down there because of opportunities and cost of living

My boy traveled to Atlanta last year to find a job for nursing since he finished his program and wanted a new fresh scene from what he's used to here in NYC.

The outcome, dude told me the jobs he was finding paid peanuts down there. He decided to not bother moving instead cause at least RN nurses are paid well here.
