I was Hooked on seeing this ever since I saw the 1st Trailer in Theaters. It looks so Beautiful and looks very Expecting with this Story.



Forgot what I was actually there to see but I know it wasn't Django Unchained.

I grew up in Ebbets Field Apartments and went to Jackie Robinson Junior HS. Not sure if I'm going to see this film. I have a feeling there's going to be a flood of white guilt and holding by the hand tied to Jackie in this film.

That Jay z song seems so out of place when I see this commercial. I really hate when they try to put hip hop songs on era movies like this. It comes off cliche as hell and takes away from its authenticity. I'm still gonna check it out though and everyone else should too. God knows if this does less than that god awful Tyler Perry trash it will be some shameful shyt.

All excitement I had over this movie is gone after seeing multiple trailers. Nothing about them look very good. Will wait for this to land in my local RedBox.

I mean a white guy did have to sign him to the Brooklyn Dodgers he couldn't sign himself and Branch Rickey gets a lot of shine. But the focus is on what JR had to endure.
