Cool but i can't see it being how i envisioned it to be..

i really want a Jack Johnson biopic...a spike lee joint, yeah wishful fukkin thinking.

I will say it is not a biopic.They cover Jackie's first year in pro white baseball. And to be fair to the other poster, Branch Rickey is a very close second as far as 'star of the show'.

How was it

Thumbs up. The thing I like best about it is it really displayed why Jackie was great as a baseball player. They concentrate on his game as much as they do the racial/political stuff going on around him at the same time.
I'm a huge baseball fan and I think the movie is a good showcase not just for Jackie Robinson but for the game as well.
