What left field rhetorical situations? The "Do 19 year olds want to start having kids at 19?" question was raised in relation to one of the most used reasons that older men state for wanting to be with teenagers and young adults.

How many 19 year olds do you know who want to be tied down with kids before they could even get a taste of life and freedom?
The amount is minuscule if they don't happen to be Mormon, so in the end you'll still end up waiting years to have kids while the paternal sperm quality turns into dust which makes the "younger is better" rhetoric mute.
