Why would you want to be with a 19 year old at 40? Some dudes claim it's because women are allegedly the most fertile at that age but who wants to truly have a baby at 19?

Barely in college if at all, no real work experience and then you get tied down with a baby? And if you wait to have children until she's like 25, you're 45 with stale sperm making it much more likely to have a baby with health conditions. It makes no sense.

It's legal, but I'm going to have very little in common with a 19-year-old. My mindset is different, my lifestyle experience is different... you're talking about a person barely out of high school. Why would I want to marry someone like that? Seems like setting yourself up for failure. If I do have lots of things in common with a 19 year old woman as a 40 year old man, that says a lot of things about me that aren't so good.

I have no idea if he was grooming this girl as stated so I can't comment on that - it's not 'wrong' but it's at the very least socially questionable.

The fact that this chick ran away from a Foster Home at 15 tells me that maybe she dealt with something similar.
