Answer me this (anyone), how does taking workers(low skilled) with few options already, and giving them fewer options, make them better off?
well the thing about is it reparable... maybe. but we will never find out if our current prez can help repair it since our pals on the otherside of the aisle are hell bent on not allowing anything he wants to do, to be implemented. this has NEVER happened before at least far as i know. you literally have a stale mate pres vs congress situation when it comes to job creation/ economy repair. we know the repub way WILL NOT WORK. it never has worked, and never will work. now that doesnt mean obeezy's way will work either. but what we know now is that as is with the stale mate. there's nothing going to work in our favor. 99% are damned. Win the lotto brehs. This economy is irreparably damaged and all the deceiving jobs numbers that get released every month and that people tout as proof that the economy is getting better slowly but surely won't change that sad fact.
What is really messed up is that none of the people in political office have the decency to talk truthfully about things and instead cloak all their statements and actions in partisan bullshyt.
or it means people care about their fellow man. or... HATE on their fello man cause they dont make that much or they DIDNT make that much when they were coming up. dumb 99%ers dont realize the 1% feel insanely entitled while we 99ers run around talking about "i dont think yous should make $15.00 for flipping burgers. should AROD make a 100+ million hitting a baseball? should BP oil make all that money after hiding their money overseas so they barely pay taxes? but yet yall dummies dont feel entitled. at least the haters and crabs dont.Yeah that pretty much means this forum is filled with people who make $10-$14 an hour.

Clever liberal polls.
Please brehs, do not put a lot of stock in polls, they can be made to reflect just about anything. Not just economic ones either, i mean all polls. take it all with a grain a salt.
Higher wages here, encourage employers to move jobs offshore, where cheaper labor can be found. The businesses/jobs leave the U.S. leaving more workers here without jobs. What is so hard to grasp about that?
You guys post comments making fun of cheap oversea labor being used, then suggest making labor here more expensive...
Anyways the majority(34%) of the economist in the poll you posted say raising the min wage would make it harder for low skilled workers to find work...
The second chart is a slick one, cause it doesnt have dealing with inflation(stop printing money) as an option. It just kind of accepts inflation, and wants to compensate...
So 34% is a majority now? And a survey of professional economists is a "liberal poll"?
Libertarian logic.
I'm guessing you think the solution to our economic problems is for companies to pay American workers wages so low that even 3rd world workers overseas wouldn't accept them. I guess that would discourage companies from moving jobs overseas, but at some point the solution is worse than the problem.
I'll keep on saying it. Brehs, you got five years to get your shyt together. The rich and poor gap is about the size of the grand canyon and we are going to see some Elysium shyt going on pretty soon. People need to stop focusing on getting a job and start focusing on five year and ten year goals. Because pretty soon people are going to find out the real difference between earning a wage and a LIVING wage. Once this immigration bill passes watch the shyt hit the fan.
I'M GLAD DEAD7 POSTS IN THAT AWFUL BLUE FONT BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T NEED TO READ HIS LAZILY CRAFTED DEFENSES OF BAD ECONOMIC IDEOLOGY, BROTHER!
Good paying full-time jobs are disappearing, and they are being replaced by low paying part-time jobs. So far this year, 76.7 percent of the jobs that have been “created” in the U.S. economy have been part-time jobs.
