Nah, in all honestly, nikkas on the coli is not as dumb as they may make themselves seem sometimes. Only reason I remembered and got it right is because as a programmer, we deal with these type of statements/equations all the time

the reason why most people get it wrong is because they misuse the whole my dear aunt blah blah. These FB math problem are designed to take advantage of that hence you never see ( ) in the equations.

the answer is 9. 6/2(1+2) = 6/2(3) = 3x3 = 9.

when you have division and multi. you move left to right.

or you could use the distributive property

6/2(1) + 6/2(2) = 6/2 + 12/2 = 18/2 = 9

No fukking way 73% got this wrong. I'd buy 30% forgetting about the order of operations but that's about it.
