Doordash driving reading this whole story like :ohhh::damn: cuz he coulda killed them and took their car after that food got dropped off and made this shyt even harder to figure out :wow:

Nah, they still woulda got him. They have the Elantra on cam plenty of times in the area, plus killer woulda had to leave the car in the area if he took the DD driver’s car. Maybe there’s even film of dude walking.

The fbi released a statement saying they absolutely did not have the Indiana police do that. Why would they entrust this case to some beat cop yokells

I sincerely doubt the FBI is going to give away trade secrets about how they move or work with local law enforcement. There's literally zero upside to doing that.

you're just not accounting for the mistakes a coddled college aged woman who prolly NEVER had to call 911 for any violent shyt in her life would make :manny: it's sounds stupid but PLENTY of people get too stricken with shock/fear to dial 911 in situations or even think properly

that thread on that ex convict who executed like 4-5 people randomly outside a bar a few months ago, the daughter was standing OVER her dead father and just watched the killer walk up and put one between her head in the middle of the street (suprisingly she was one of the only survivors) :francis: it's a real thing mane
shyt I've lived a safe suburban life, and when I got robbed during closing time working at Domino's it was all because I just did the most mind numbingly stupid shyt possible due to sheer lack of experience and not being used to those situations. Fear and then my brain trying to reason it away fukked up my decision making something fierce and I opened the back door thinking it was a driver that had just left knowing damn well the shyt was suspect :francis:

Damn i didn't peep, but nah if this dude is as meticulous as it seems (he WAS studying criminal justice and was watching them for a long time) surveillance is everything, he coulda known, you right

he ALSO could have not known and took the chance :manny: he already took the chance of letting a witness look clean at him, situations like this are weird cuz it's like clearly calculated but then you got HUGE missteps in logic that show the cac wasn't all the way there mentally.

People seem to think every mass murderer is some cold, calculating and meticulous genius type when in reality, even with all the planning and mapping out in the world, when it comes down to it most are in some kind of semi-blackout state fueled only by the high of the kill. A lot of them start going to town after getting to act out their fantasy homicide and can't even think beyond the next few minutes.

This seems to be exactly what happened here because after the high wore off and he started thinking back on what he did, he started seeing his mistakes and revisited the property over and over again, sometimes going back in, sometimes just driving by.

That one lunatic who killed those nurses back in the 60s raped and murdered all but one and she just so happened to be the exact same woman who initially answered the door. He got so caught up in what he was doing he clean forgot she even existed so she lived to tell the tale.

The killer was reportedly practicing boxing so he must have been quick with his hands, but even still I'm surprised the knife didn't break with all this speed
Hunters knifes are strong but to kill humans at a high pace is extremely difficult.

I have read hundreds of those style of affidavits and that one is really really clean. I mean, they usually are/have to be, but they did excellent work in this case. Aided by the FBI, for sure. It reads like a federal charging document.

For all his intelligence and master PHD, he was just a sloppy, obsessed, angry maniac. Left his DNA on the scene in a sheath. Parked his own car the scene. Didn't think about the cameras, and the residential neighborhood, which wouldn't obscure him or his vehicle.

Seen and read a lot on this case, and a lot of others, and this was still chilling. That mask, seeing the killer. Hearing him. Wow. Doesn't expand on any links to the victims, besides he for sure knew them, and stalked them. Doesn't go to motive at all, that will be maybe in the prelim. Think they redacted some of the more grisly details. Not sure 100%.

Really glad it's solved, and he will max out with a life sentence. Probably get 300 years on some county technicality.

They even did the kind of reverse cellphone tracking that provides evidence via exclusion, as opposed to inclusion,I saw used in my friends death prosecution too. As in, his phone was everywhere, but during those hours of killing, it wasn't. And then came back on right after. Just a minor thing but weighed with everything else. And they do have an eyewitness. They were on him as soon as a week after the killing or maybe 10 days.
Well he's not a career criminal. You usually learn how to protect yourself after so many crimes with experience

When it was first announced the suspects car may have been a White Hyundai, I wonder if his pops thought to himself..My son lives there and drives a White Hyundai..:jbhmm:

You looking at the wrong person. All the evidence shows pops was more concerned with his son's safety because he thought it was some kind of off-campus mass shooting event.

You’re overlooking how willfully ignorant and naive people can be especially when it’s someone close to them.
