Another bs myth. He averaged over 30ppg and still shot over 50% against the Pistons. They changed their defense after he dropped 59 and 61 on them in 1987. It had NOTHING to do with his abilities. MJ was already a great shooter in college.MJ is the GOAT. But stop acting like lebron is a bad jump shooter. There have been many statistics over the years showing that he is a good jump shooter. His 40 point game in boston was full of him hitting jumpers and this is in a must win game with all the pressure that comes with it. I'm not saying he is as good a shooter as Jordan, but he is not bad by any stretch. Remember we are watching highlights of him making every shot, so lets put things in perspective.
I'm old enough to remember that Jordan struggled against Detroit when he was 27 because he attacked the basket too much and they would beat him up for it. Once he started truly believing in his jumper more (it was already good), he was able to keep Detroits defense honest.

The "Jordan Rules" was just a double-team strategy, forcing MJ's young teammates to make plays when he gave up the ball. Plain and simple. Chuck Daly admitted it.
When Pippen, Grant, Paxson and BJ Armstrong grew balls and started making their shots, the Pistons got swept.
