I’ll add one last point: the crowd dikk riding Rhea actually holds Rhea and the product back.

They’re so off the deep end with it that it’s not even allowing Rhea to exist as her best self: a vicious and demented heel who’ll do any and everything to win. That’s where she’s at her best, but because she has to force that catchphrase and appease her weirdo fan base, we get these awkward build ups.

She’s stuck in the prison her hyper sexual innuendos put her in.

I guarantee you if you gave her a lie detector test she’d admit that while she’s happy she has a character that connects and is prominently featured (as she deserves to be) she finds it annoying AF

She is the most over female on the roster, but it’s for reasons based off not merit, but a combination of fetish and racism.

Rhea is amazing! No doubt about that, and in pretty much ANY other era, she’d unquestionably be THAT girl, but rocking with her while booing Bianca is strange.

It’d be fine if Rhea was cheered louder. Wrestling fans are who they are, but the nuances of what’s happening here is far deeper than just “Rhea is over and Bianca isn’t.”

Folks just can’t tell the truth because they think it’s a slight/threat to Rhea, when it don’t gotta be all that.

She just isn’t better than Bianca…like in any way. Period.

She doesn’t look better. Dress better. Wrestle better. Doesn’t have better matches or storylines. As a finisher, KOD >>>> Riptide. She’s clearly more feminine and marketable outside of skin color. They’re both jacked, so folks can’t even use the “Bianca is a little too muscular for most men” excuse. Only one of them looks like a man in certain lighting and angles, and it ain’t Bianca

It’s a gold medal to silver medal type situation more or less across the board.

And the crowd knows it too. That’s why they boo her so loud. It’s easier to do that than to embrace a reality where both should be loved just about the same at worst.

With how awful Rhea has been booked in this story narratively, this would be the perfect time for Bianca to be supported, but her greatness and skin color are both a threat to the fragility of Rhea’s perceived white excellence.

Bianca doesn’t have the complexion for the protection. It is what it is

Folks will use every excuse in the world rather than to look at the plain truth.

Talking about her character has gone stale as if Randy Orton isn’t getting the loudest pops of his career right now, or if it isn’t all love whenever Jeff Hardy pulls up

Somewhat true.

What we don’t realize is that a lot of this hate means Bianca has truly made it. Coli posters will point out she hasn’t had the main title in forever. True. But at the same time she’s had top 5 winning percentage in the entire company damn near every year, including last year. And when she does lose it’s always due to interference or something silly like a roll up. And when she’s not the main champion she’s holding another title and holding it for a very long time. And not to mention she has been face forever. She’s basically the female Cena (which is a high compliment anyone could receive).

In life, especially in wrestling, you will start to have haters just because fans want their wrestler to be in that position and other goofy reasons. The same thing happened to Becky with her underdog/the man arcs. Everyone loved her and then out of nowhere people started to hate her. It comes with the territory of being a protected top superstar.

You see it happening now with Jey he’s under the microscope of haters. It happens to Cody it happened a lot to Roman it happened to Cena. When you’re that big you get haters.

And you bring up none of this happening to Orton. Orton has been my favorite wrestler for 20 years. Hes totally got this treatment a lot… dudes used to call him Randy Boreton and other unfair treatment throughout the years, especially during the punk and Bryan days… again that’s what happens when you’re at the top. The only reason why it’s not happening to Orton now is he because he’s a certified legend and damn near a legacy act for fans and it’s an honor to see him since he almost retired… he’s getting his flowers while still delivering quality 20 years later… unlike someone like Jericho


And i got Bianca as a better wrestler than Rhea. But I’ve told the coli time and time again that Rhea is popular af. I know people who don’t watch a lick of wrestling that know Rhea Ripley and have no idea who Bianca is.

You can apply it to a fetish too. She’s a hot buff chick that rocks the emo look pretty well. And a lot of people dig it… and it’s why she crossed over pretty well in social media


I swear a majority of black folks 35+ don’t understand or underestimate how popular emo and goth culture is for a lot of people under 30. I see it in person…. When Jimmy dressed up as emo Jimmy I could not for the life of me convince my pops that Jimmy butler isn’t gay he’s doing a emo impression… and this dude just reject anything I said… so in my pops eyes Jimmy is gay lol same thing with the entire family…. I think Rhea is just more marketable than Bianca at the moment but Bianca is better overall at the moment.


I just didn’t predict Bianca being booed in this equation. There could be some racism into that… I remember the racist shyt going on online when Bianca was revealed to be on the cover of 2k….
