Just because somebody doesn’t fight the way your used to doesn’t mean they are unskilled. Wilder disguises his right hand with a lot of patience and timing he’s not just running in there to kill somebody his punch is usually set up by a faint or pawing jab. How is that not skilled? Fury on the back foot looks sloppy and overweight but he rarely gets hit when he’s in the stance and he can mull opponents with the best of em. Unconventional does not equal unskilled.

Proper questioning Wilders skill too, takes skill to land and put someone like Fury dien multiple times, look at Whyte tonight, legitimate top 5 in the division and didn’t land a glove. Wilder sets that right hand up to perfection time and again, just cos he isn’t and jab and move fighter don’t mean he ain’t skilled

It’s rather unfair to dub someone the best when he has not taken part in a final eliminator. If he beats the winner of Usyk vs Joshua then he can be hailed as the best of this generation. However he can’t lay claim to that by “retiring”/running and shout he is the best. If you are the best fight either one of these guys and sail of as the best of the generation. Even with that dominating a weak era doesn’t make you a GOAT. Vlad dominated consistently and for longer and I don’t see people calling him a GOAT despite him having a far more extensive career and a far more impressive resume.
