Joe was hittin a stride and the belt kinda was in reboot mode after it ending up second fiddle to MJF-Cole bromance. It was a good moment for Swerve and the representation of it, but it kinda feels too soon especially since everyone knows the champ is a seatwarmer til Wembley.

Lowkey I woulda rather had Swerve take it up off Ospreay who took it from Joe at Wembley. Had Swerve go on a TBS title tear where he walks over anyone who challenges for it in short matches and forfeits the belt unbeaten to guarantee he jumps the line for Ospreay.

Joe coulda kept cooking, and you don't hotshot 'historical first black champ' for a transitional title reign and a guaranteed job to Ospreay. Swerve deserve better than that

He won't get squashed, but as mentioned earlier in the thread, he won't make it past All In with that title. Ospreay quite literally just became the #1 contender in a span of weeks.

Completely biased because I'm going to All In I'd like to see them hot potato it a bit for once - have Swerve and Ospreay trade wins at All In and All Out then a rubber that leaves the entire industry scarred sometime towards the end of the year.

This is kinda a repeat of when the Acclaimed win the tag belts. The Acclaimed should have won it at the PPV with the crowd was ready to blow the roof off the arena. Instead they won it at the next PPV where the pop wasnt going to be as big
