Listening to this crowd you could have just had Austin go over clean and send everybody home happy

A strange thought occurred to me just now. At no point was the rock ever stale, and he was never a poor face, yet two straight years at wrestlemania as a face, the crowd gets behind his opponent in clear and audible fashion.

In hindsight you can actually see the heel turn coming during the match, stone cold was getting more and more desperate as it went on and finally sold his soul to win.
