People always try to show old stuff but you’re better off current so that there’s a weekly investment. Her watching the Rumble was perfect cuz it introduced her to hella people and it was easy to understand the concept of.

AEW needs to save the lights out stuff for known entities who will generate a major reaction. They overdo it and while I understand trying to get some hype for the Indian market, they could've just had dude enter the ring behind Joe while Lethal/Dutt had him distracted without turning the lights out.

my gripe isn't the fact of the gimmick matches themselves so much as how a fued that just started, or I didn't even know existed, has a gimmick match seemingly right out the gate. they try to make everything a blood fued when it ain't always that serious

I agree AEW tends to rely on gimmick matches a bit too much (that Hardy vs Butcher+Blade ladder match was unnecessary) but Andrade has been trying to buy Darby since the beginning of January.

I usually watch Impact the next day because Hulu doesn't have AXS as part of its channels otherwise I'd join you fellas in the thread.
