i'll talk about personal experience...i've been rejected a lot in my younger days, and contrary to what people tell you, rejection doesn't get easier. so now i just dread rejection and it makes me hesitate from really expressing myself to women,

I think it's sad and detrimental for men (or women for that matter) to base their confidence or life success on how they fare with the opposite sex. Establishing your sense of self worth from any one other than you alone is a dangerous thing to do. Should the nerds who are accomplished academically and financially and career wise feel like they r failures in spite of all that simply because they dont do well with women.

I take pity on mean who are so preoccupied with judging themselves thru the lens of women. These men should focus on other accomplishments

Breeding and continuing your legacy/ bloodline is a basic human need....a man can act like he dont need females but its only so long fake thugs can pretend

It's been good man. The long hours and some woman drama (that's a story for the Quick Gems thread ) kept me off here but I'm gonna catch up on everything I've missed now that things are winding down for the holidays.

I think a lot has to do with unrealistic standards.

These guys aren't probably very self aware so they're going for women who don't match them on some level but they don't know how to peep that out. It lends to unnecessary rejection.

But also times have changed. People used to hook up because of the neighborhood, family, etc, connections. A lot of those social connections have erroded and so a lot of people remain single when they really shouldn't be.

Relying on meeting someone at a nightclub seems to be the go to for many and guys like these are built to succeed in that environment.

There's no real other place that provides for less intimidating social interaction that can lead to lasting relationships these days.

It's harder out there for single people tbh.

I wouldn't word it that way, but most dudes who regularly hook up are dipping down a little. There's a few that are really good with women that don't, but they only seem to be on the internet.

Regardless of how much confidence or game you have, the casual sex market is heavily favored towards women. They have the option of sleeping with men more attractive to them, because there are more men trying to be promiscuous than women. There are exceptions but if you go out thinking you're gonna consistently pull chicks on your level for one night stands, it will probably be a struggle.

Now when it comes to relationships, the odds even or are favoring the men. But if we just talking about running through chicks, straight up no strings attached, guys usually go a point or two below themselves.
