When the game came out i didn’t feel this way, but seeing how white folks kinda fetishized CJ and the game for years later made me feel different. If CJ was just a regular guy who happened to be black, i’m positive that he wouldn’t have been as popular with that crowd. They probably would have hated the fact that he was black, like they do most other black characters.

And also, pretty much every black character rockstar has written has been this stereotypical hood caricature. Don’t really think they deserve recognition for those characters.
