I purchased a series x last year and was very unimpressed with halo. I would rather play apex legends.

I use to say the same thing but information is coming out that leads me to believe 343i had poor leadership and direction. the ex developers are saying that a 3rd of the workforce was made up of contracted workers constantly being rotated out after 18 months. So alot of time had to be spent helping get the constant rotation of new contracted employees up to speed on the in-house engine they use.
If that's true then it's no wonder progress has been slow and quality is inconsistent. Seems like the studio was designed top to bottom to be as inefficient as possible, and they're claiming that this is how microsoft wanted it.

I know that toward the end of Halo Reach's development and support cycle, 343 had some good ideas on making a fun and competitive multiplayer maps, even moreso than Bungie when they left to make Destiny. And on Halo 4, I like most of the game I can't complain about it at all.
I switched over to PS4 after that, they had better hardware (still having problems getting online, but that's another story) if it went south after that, I can't deny it

i actually really liked Infinite's Campaign lol
even with the re-use of assets in every level it was leagues above 4 & 5's.

Halo infinite should have been Halo 4.
The franchise is owned by Microsoft.
At this point it makes more sense for the franchise to focus on the tv show and maybe reboot the game series in another 10 years.
I could easily see the halo franchise as a modern day superhero movie. And every 10 years we get a new reboot and a different spin on the universe.

I even out in the thread title that it was a rumor you goofball.
Yeah it was debunked by other reporters earlier.
This happens a lot here. Random ass rumor is posted. People “react” to it like it’s news. Then nothing ever gets updated and people go on believing the rumor as true.
