Not all jobs are remote. Say for instance I get a position at Coca Cola but they require commuting but they pay me 40% more. I'd make more commuting and work there but I'd have to move closer to the office. Vs another remote company offers the same or less. Renting gives that flexibility. If she already deep in her job and likes it and wants to stay then yeah that's understandable. But for people early in their career there can be a lot of job hopping and a house can make that more difficultShe works from home though. She could work anywhere potentially permanently.
