$32 ham and cheese. Even for Manhattan this is outrageous - EDIT, We also have $27 strawberries.

Muurs of Muu.
yea I grew up with spanish or Italian bodegas.....
I still hit NY up at least once a month....seems like its all Yemen now.... and they for sure are pretty vocal about their feelings :francis:

I refuse to buy or eat food from any of them Arab spots. The only Muslims I do business with is one gas station in the Bronx. They are Palestinians who sell beer and cigarettes and gas and employ Black people. One brother has been working there for at least 30 years.

Upper East Side is basically Beverly Hills of NYC. That’s not an area you casually stroll into like that. It’s pretty remote and out the way. The only thing there are high end boutiques, expensive museums and $6500 1br apartments. Nobody’s going to a bodega out there for a sandwich unless they live nearby and are rich af

If I pay $32 for a sandwich it needs to weight at least 48-64oz and I need 16 oz bag of freshly cooked potato chips with a 32 oz Icelandic Spring Water.

What's crazy is a lot of the residential neighborhoods in Manhattan south of Harlem feel this way. Chelsea, Upper West Side, Battery Park, etc.

There used be a iconic Hot Dog spot and 86th and 3rd Ave I believe but their landlord sold the location so they could build condos in its place so it had to close :francis: Never got the chance to eat there :mjcry:

What's crazy about the UES is once you past 96th street going north it gets hood QUICK :mjlol:
