$32 ham and cheese. Even for Manhattan this is outrageous - EDIT, We also have $27 strawberries.

This is New York City, not Kentucky.

If people dumb enough to spend it, let them be foolish.

I used that picture as an example. I have gotten way better sandwiches from Italian delis for less than $10. Made with fresh made bread. That same sandwich in Throgs Neck or Country Club, Bronx is $20 to $25 between 59th street and the Staten Island ferry in Manhattan.

When I was a child the neighborhood delis were owned and run by Italians. The bread was made fresh daily and the cold cuts were top notch. Then over a time Hispanics bought those delis and they became know as bodegas. The portions were cut in half or more and the bread was not baked fresh daily. Then white Islamics bought the bodegas and cut the meat portions by half and use shredded lettuce as a fluffer and the thinnest slices of tomato. I don't want any parts of that. I'll go to Berkley & Jensen or Costco or Sam's Club and get some cold cuts and fresh bread if I want sandwiches.
