Exactly.

And if you don’t see yourself staying in the city for an extended amount of time, there’s no reason to buy a house.

This is the Coli though. I’m sure everyone here paying $1500/month mortgage for a 4000sqft mini mansion with fully decorated interior close to their city center.
It’s like people have no concept of life stages. And like you said, if you ain’t staying in a home at least 5 years, there’s no reason to buy.

I got a few guys who are like "Why don't you get you a house?", "You got too comfortable there"

Me: "You act like YOU"RE the one paying the bills" :mjtf::heh:

What difference does it make to anyone else? Plus I have my reasons....reasons that differ from others.

There is no accounting for tastes.

It’s a nice spot, but that seems steep.

I thought the appeal of living in Dallas was that you didn’t have to spend that much on housing.

That apartment is ok, but if I'm gone pay $3000/month it's GOTTA be a loft. High ceilings. Exposed brick

But they pouring jelly on themselves:why:

If you broke, just say that. :lolbron:

They are not. They are paying for what they want. Lots of amenities, high rise living, no maintenance, etc. a young single person doesn’t need to own a home in a quiet neighborhood or suburb, they want to live in entertaining neighborhoods and be close to the action and around other young single people (the other folk who live in these apartments). Lastly, if they can afford it, why does it matter to y’all who can’t?

Agreed. Only thing is, for $3000, what he got really ain't worth it. His place looks like a glorified apartment.

I need luxury luxury if I'm paying $3000 a month.

That ain't shyt if that's what $3k gets you. Might as well buy a loft. I imagine you can get something way better with a $3000 mortgage.

I just did a quick search and something like this looks way better. And he'd save $500/month

Yeah was gonna say the same.. did I see it’s only 1 bedroom?

It definitely looks great but that’s moreso because of how of touches he put in it. The lights over the jerseys, furniture etc. wine bar is a nice touch tho.

I pay $3,300 in Atlanta and mine is 2 bed 2 bath and looks a lot like his. Only difference I saw was his backsplash is nicer and wine bar.

We’re ignoring the fact that apartments are getting cheaper to be made to ‘look’ luxury. Whole time we’re just renting a unit that is shined up a lil bit more.

Damn, you described it perfectly.:ohhh:
