Unless you follow trends not much should really change about your style outside maybe owning more business casual clothing.

I disagree,Nothing wrong with following trends if it's a style you like.

UNTIL you get older.

Even if I liked the style these young kids is coming up with....even though I could still pull it off at 31,at some point you gotta feel responsible for setting a better example:scust:

So dying the tips of your hair, tight bright ass glittery shirts, holes in your jeans, skinny jeans, should all be out of the question:scust:

If you like something thats not following a trend thats buying what you like. People who buy something because its "hot in the streets" are following trends.

If you buy what you like the only thing that may change with time is the fit of your clothing.

It's possible to like something after it becomes a trend....at that point I still consider that to be following a trend whether it's genuine or not....my thing is,after a certain age you can't even do that....folks can say they don't care what people think about how they dress, but I know when i hit a certain age,I don't wanna look like a old man trying to blend in with kids.

Pretty much only rock Ralph Lauren and Levi's. pretty much stick to dark color everything. I don't really rock hats like that anymore unles it's raining or freezing. No graphic tees or loud colors. I stopped buying real expensive shyt too.

when I'm not rocking dress shoes black or wheat timbs, boat shoes, roshes, still rock jays, air max :yeshrug:

I been wanting to get some Nike Cortez, but the stigma behind those shoes has me hesitant
What's the stigma behind them? I said Cortez but I really just have one pair and a few other low top nikes. I couldn't let them sit on the shelf at 45 dollars. Anyway, I mostly wear sperrys or even cheaper boat shoes as long as they look good. I've been messing with Penguin recently.

The Truth
Wear what I like if it's trendy or not.

Don't really have a style or swag. I prefer casual laidback, solid colored, fitted clothes compared to the teenage years.
