Lol at everything being “free” you are stupid as shyt. It’s usually the minimum level courses that are free. Then after that, there’s a charge to continue or add additional courses for online learning. “Free” and corporatism of America. The schools in urban areas can barely provide books and supplemental learning materials but everything is free to you.
So you’re saying that anyone taking a free course online can automatically be offered a job? Google’s minority workforce is less than 5% black, Amazon corporate is the same, Silicon Valley is notorious for racial discrimination in hiring practices but here you are with the bootstraps banter. so let me know what diversity initiatives are in place to even that out to a fair 50/50. Better yet - instead of fronting and Bussy spamming on message boards how about you do what you talk - go create a website of all of these FREE resources right? I mean there’s HTML web design courses that are free - that shouldn’t be a problem for you. And include on your website the hiring employers, So that everyone can have a list and description of these FREE educational sites, links and videos. Or perhaps you could start a thread listing out the free resources in order to empower black people, since you have all the solutions. Let us know when IT, Cyber and Coding companies are having their hiring events. Know what? - how about you call the HR companies and see if free online courses will meet their qualifications. Also any scholarships or income based courses and classes that they offer. That way you can create a chart or database for those in need of jobs to see if they match up. Local libraries are being defunded because people use computers/laptops for research but how about you contact local libraries in cities to see what their occupancy is and the maximum time allowed for computer usage. Create a chart on that so people can have it as a ready resource because I’m sure 20 people showing up to use 5 computers would be a bit of an inconvenience since most low income households can’t afford computers and there’s a backlog for schools donating personal laptops at schools. and what about the adults working minimum wage jobs already? The libraries usually close at 6pm - so I guess those on shift work should do what? They should quit their jobs to take on these free courses that are not part of a full accredited program and no job guarantees. What about students going to college and parents who don’t qualify for Loans due to credit issues - maybe you can also include financial alternatives, (bc banks don’t discriminate at all) with they’re financial services you could put us in touch with Branch Managers for small business assistance. Oh wait- we should all fall back to the free online tutorials right?? Report back when you have all that worked out - you know it all, so when should we expect your list? I mean you want to help and dedicated to assisting the community, shouldn’t be a problem?? You have it all worked out - show and prove.
