I was just thinking that this match would rule in front of an 80s Memphis crowd or maybe even an 80s-early 90s JCP/WCW crowd. Most modern fans don't know what to do with a bloody battle of attrition like this.

I know what this match needed...just I Quit rules. It needs a bit of storytelling to go along with the dog collar stipulations. The pins are taking me out of the element. MJF is a shytlord that the crowd needs to hear squirm, while Punk is that never say die old school ROH guy. It's only right to go demonic with the shyt talking and the opportunities of torture to make the opponent say I quit.
