Sting has somehow been underrated for much of his career. Meltzer and those weirdos tried to say Sting wasn't a "draw" under the Surfer Sting gimmick but that was complete BS because Sting got the ball and held it down during one of the worst financial periods in the company's history. There wasn't much he could really do under the circumstances.

Later on Sting would end up showing how much of a draw he is under the Crow moniker, I believe Sting vs. Hogan at Starrcade '97 was the most successful PPV WCW ever did and again they cut the knees out from The Stinger with terrible booking.

He was nearly a perfect wrestler from a look/in-ring standpoint. He could wrestle anyone from Flair to Vader to cruiserweights because Sting had the perfect blend of power and athleticism. There's not many like him. On the mic, he wasn't great at first but he later developed into a pretty good talker.

End of an era. :salute: @puppetmaster
