A Mikey win would switch up the whole scene at 147 :wow: Spence dikkriders would have no way to Out of a 135er moving up and schooling EJ.

this..mikey has a lot to gain with a win..for sure he'd be top 3 P4P mininum..the PBC 147 scene will be shamed something serious..now mikey has a lot to lose physically from this fight but his rep wont take a hit...spence there is no real wins...personally i dont think he's a p4p fighter yet...he hasnt done any real damage in his division...if he wins he beat up a 135 pounder thats it:manny:..if he loses he's no p4p thats for damn sure :russ:

Literally, and this is not the first time I’ve asked you.....what do you see in terms of boxing? Not generalities specific boxing points? @aceboon in case you don’t see the quote
i'm a fan of Mikey, I'm just not buying this idea that he is outclassing Spence in regards to skills that Mikey stans are trying to sell. Then factor in Spence's advantage in size, power, athleticism, and Mikey not even bringing a speed advantage up with him, nah, I'm just not seeing it.

you ever watch spence in the amateurs? its nice to look at who a guy fought in the amateurs. they are usually the best fighters that guy will have fought, since soon as they turn pro, they get fed guys just to make them look good, gatekeepers, or shot fighters with a name. it looks really good. but what happens a lot is that, the last time they fought somebody who was actually trying to win, was way back in the amateurs. if you look up the guys spence lost to in the amateurs, guys like krishan vikas or serik sapiyev, he'd lose to these slick guys and guys who could box a little. well, you get to see spence doing what you just said, needing to set his feet, not being able to get punches off, and getting outboxed. i'm not sold on spence. and i dont think mikey garcia is so great. but i know a guy like him can outbox a guy like spence. what i dont know is how durable garcia is. i'd have picked brook to beat spence if i didnt know how fragile he was. it didnt help that he liked to set his feet and become stationary and back up in straight lines into the ropes. that is to say, i dont know how fragile garcia is. but i do know spence can be outboxed. garcia by decision.

I don't think I've seen any of Spence's losses but I've watched some of his ammy's. The funny thing is I don't remember him moving his head there either lol. But you're right about him being fed certain fighters. I think Garcia (and his team) have a high boxing IQ where he can exploit that flaw in him. It's one of the reasons I favor Thurman over him because he's not gonna sit in front of him & you combine that with Thurman's angles, power, & with Spence not moving his head....

And like you said it's probably gonna come down to Mikey's durability

Mikey already top 5 p4p now. If he beats Spence clearly, dude is easily p4p number 1. Even though Spence is largely untested against elite guys, having someone jump from 135-140 and tame him is no small feat especially when you got big ass welters avoiding that smoke.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Mikey getting clapped up. Dudes acting like Spence lands literally every punch that can be thrown in his fights with no skill, or by sheer luck or some shyt. :mjlol:

I can’t wait for this fight. I’m not even excited for the fight, per se. I’m excited for how silly some of y’all are going to look. :ohlawd:

This shyt is a mismatch. It always ways.

with all this mikey and spence talk...i take it no one gives 2 shyts about its undercard :heh:

Not enough of the public care about under-cards nowadays. It's not the 90s anymore. If I can sell you dirt weed/stomped to death coke and you still buy from me, why would I change up?

I used to throw a lot of boxing and MMA PPV parties in my day. Cats would show up at my house in the afternoon and wouldn't leave until an hour or two after the event was over. When I ordered a PPV for a fight party within the last decade or so,, people wouldn't show up until right before the main event started. It sucks for hardcore boxing fans, but we're in the "I need it fast and quick" era.

We care about undercards when they’re good. IE the UC for 4/20 will far exceed the main event
