I gotta disagree breh. Mickey was not acclimatised to the weight and he wasn't moving like he comfortably does. And the shots I think were getting to him but mikey is defensively sound so he parried a good amount of em. I agree that skill was definitely a big factor and people were sleeping on spence but Mikey just doesn't fit at 147 tbh

Mayb mikey wins a round or so but spence would have all the same advantages.
The reach was givin him a lot of trouble .and once spence showed off his boxing skills, he pretty much quit halfway through the fight

I know I was clowning Garcia last night, but he showed a hell of a chin. I would have personally stopped the fight after 6 rounds, as nothing was going to change.

I know you brought up that Garcia has been dropped by lighter punchers, but you gotta keep in mind that a lot of these guys kill themselves to make weight at the lower weight classes. Garcia has been much sturdier as he moved up.

There are NO shortcuts in boxing. He needs to go back to lightweight, and eventually work up to a megafight with Loma. After that fight, win or lose, he can finish his career at 140.

I do think he can fight at 147 if he got properly acclimated to the weight and had the right opponent. He lost to Errol Spence, who dominates everyone, so no shame in that.

Mikey was outclassed, but he you could definitely see his skills in there, and why he's so good.

I don't see a whole lot of fighters mistreated these days let them be any color. The competition is sharp and they can get all time high payments from any direction. We are living in an age where dudes like Andrade, Lara, Fury, guys from 115lbs and in general almost anyone who worths his salt is eating.

Don't try to spin this into some moral victory bullshyt, he got his ass whooped from beginning to end and never had a shot. There's no skill in getting tagged all night. I think Spence let him survive just so he could show off more of his boxing skills.

You're wrong for acting like race IS a factor in boxers love for Haymon, when he's praised by boxers outside of his ethnicity as well.
