That has nothing to do with my point :heh:

Nobody in the Big12 beating the elites
Lies. Low key I think Oklahoma is the best team in the country. I think if they was in the final four they would make a Ohio St. Type of run. Call me crazy but last year at this time if someone said he same thing about Ohio St y'all would call them crazy too.

A 2 loss Bama with no conference championship has absolutely 0 chance of being in the top 4.

Alabama is #2 and they have a loss at home to a now unranked team. The "eye test" allows for teams to get graded on a curve and Alabama losses aren't counting like other teams. Just like last year.

All b/s aside, Bama SHOULDN'T be ranked in front of the undefeated teams. Here's my logic as to why....yea they are a top 4 team on the EYE test but....they DID lose. Its not as if we are saying...drop Bama behind Houston who hasnt played ANYBODY but ranking them 6th shouldn't be an issue because if they win out, they would jump the big 10 and big 12 one loss team who are ahead of them and be 4th anyways. You cant put Bama there basically on a PREDICTION ranking and saying "welp eventually the big 10/ big 12/nd vs stanford game will eventually will cancel each other out and we feel bama will eventually be the best one loss team so might as well put them there NOW".

That works under the assumption that all losses are equal and al victories are equal regardless of opponent. I doubt you agree with that.

Bama, imo, loss should have them below Baylor, OSU, and Okie State at the current moment. Those are power 5 UNDEFEATED teams and say what you want, Bama lost at HOME.

its not just the eye test with bama. yes they have a loss, but they also have arguably the best win of the season beating lsu by 14. they beat georgia by 28 on the road when chubb was healthy. they have 2 wins over currently ranked teams and 6 wins over teams that currently have winning records.

even with a loss thats a better resume than teams that dont have the quality wins ala baylor, baylor has zero wins over teams with winning records. i feel i know more about a team that has played and beat good competition and may have dropped a game than a team that is undefeated and hasnt played anyone. its not a prediction ranking, alabama has done more to show they deserve to be in the top 4 than most of the undefeated teams. if those undefeated teams have quality wins on similar or equal footing to alabama then that loss by alabama comes into play and they should be ahead of alabama even if by the eye test bama is the better team.

they dont deserve a pass for their loss, but similar to ohio state last year their loss won't carry as much weight as the fact they beat michigan state by 12 on the road then destroyed wisconsin in the the big ten title game.

Y'all complaining about unbeaten not being ahead of Bama. Most of these unbeatan teams plAy each other. The ones who don't still have though games and trap games. It's going to be picking the best one loss teams anyways.
