iowa isnt a top 5 team on paper, but they are a top 5 team right now based on who theyve played and who theyve beaten imo. id rather have a team ranked on what theyve done than how good i think they should be. personally id put iowa above ohio state right now because their quality wins are better, but if they played head to head id expect ohio state to win. the logic behind that is the same as if there was an undefeated team ranked ahead of a team with 2 losses that was playing better football at the time but had too many losses to justify being ranked ahead of the unbeaten team.

right now i think id put them 4th behind clemson, bama, and oklahoma st.

If Iowa stays undefeated and beats Ohio state they're obviously in why wouldn't they be? They gotta put the Big 10 in there one way or another. But I don't see it happening

teams like them are not easy to beat. If they lose they're going to make them earn it. Look at Arkansas they might not have the talent of some teams but no one likes to play them for that reason alone.

Our running game is one of the worst in the league and in the country as well as our OL who's starting to get dinged up. Iowa RIGHTFULLY deserves to be ahead of us
