The latest NBA 2K18 player ratings update has been released and Lonzo Ball’s marks have taken a significant dip.

Lonzo Ball’s overall rating in NBA 2K18 is down.
The highly touted Los Angeles Lakers rookie has seen his overall rating fall from 80 to 77. His shooting woes are to blame for the decline from his original rating. Through 14 games, Ball is shooting just 31 percent from the field, 25 percent from three-point range and 50 percent from the free throw line.
Ball’s three-point ratings are now a modest 70 in open-shot three, 69 in contested three and 68 in off-dribble three. His free-throw ratings is a scary 59. Ball’s rating is now the same as his teammate and fellow rookie Kyle Kuzma.
That proves there’s still some love being shown to Ball based on potential and notoriety. Were it based purely on statistical performance, Kuzma’s rating would be much higher. It’s still early, though, and Ball has plenty of time to improve.
The New York Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis continues to benefit from the departure of Carmelo Anthony and Phil Jackson. Porzingis has been on fire through the early portion of the season. The 22-year-old Latvian is averaging 29.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots per game.

Kristaps Porzingis is now a member of 90-Club.
