I'm looking at the thread about Malcolm and MLK and and it's amazing to me just how many of us don't know our history.
Y'all in there talking about "Malcolm taught this and Malcolm taught that".
Brehs, the only thing Malcolm was teaching (at leastwhat he is most famously known for) is what Elijah Muhammad taught HIM.
Elijah Muhammad woke Malcolm up. If any of ya'll had encountered Malcolm before he was taught by Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm would have bust one of you nikkas upside the head, took your money, and ran off into the night.
Malcolm didn't become what he was until he sat at the feet of Elijah Muhammad and learned from him.
Elijah Muhammad made Malcolm, and then Malcolm turned his back on him.
Ya'll talk about disloyalty. That was the most disloyal thing in the world.
Ya'll talk that stuff about, "Malcolm went to Mecca and saw white muslims" when the truth is:
Malcolm had went to Mecca WITH Elijah Muhammad years before that (this is all verifiable if you just google) and he saw white muslims then.... but when he got in front of the cameras to tell his story of "being reborn", he somehow forgot to include that part.
Malcolm lied on Elijah Muhammad, because it was HIM that was jealous of Elijah Muhammad.
Malcolm started to feel that he should be the leader, and then he turned his back on Elijah Muhammad.
And before it was all over with, before he got killed, Malcolm admitted to Elijah Muhammad that he was wrong, and here's a recording of what he said:
Now if Elijah Muhammad was so "insane", then what would have been the point of Malcolm making this apology?
Nah, he realized at the end that he was a traitor, and then he decided that he wanted to get back, cause he realized that the American government was playing him.
If you want to talk about who the American government was afraid of, then look at the person they NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER mention:
And that person is Elijah Muhammad. They never mention Elijah Muhammad, like EVER. They try to pretend that he never existed.
Why?
Because Elijah Muhammad was the one that was actually doing something that they were afraid of then, and are afraid of to this very day.
Most of you people on this very site who claim to be so "militant" don't even know what Elijah Muhammad was doing, and what the Nation of Islam accomplished under his leadership.
I'm not talking about no Farrakhan.
I'm talking about Elijah Muhammad.
This man built banks for us, supermarkets, grocery stores, office buildings, schools all over this country. He was teaching black people to clean up and to live righteous, Godly lives.
Elijah Muhammad is the one who taught us that we're not negroes, and that we're black.
Even Jesse Jackson admitted that. Back in the day when black folks were happy to be called negroes, Elijah Muhammad was teaching us that we're not negroes, and that we're black.
All of us out here are reaping the rewards TO THIS DAY of what Elijah Muhammad taught, and most of us don't even know that it came from him.
That man was the Messenger of Allah.
