Someone should send this to one of these young athletic NBA players agents.

The least they could do is copy this.

i swear someone has done a 36 through the legs

a LOT of those were slight variations tho, and wtf is the difference between an "eastbay" and a thru the legs? shyt looked the same to me. i'm surprised no one has done a 540 before as well.

My dude J Rich tried it off the glass in '04 and fukked around and ended up losing to Fred Jones.

Breh, ain't an active NBA player right now that's seein' that Kenny Dobbs nikka, THAT dude isn't human.

I still don't get why people even want LeBron in a dunk contest anyway.

Basically. He has no flair to his dunks, he has power and soaring ability, but no panache.

If they REALLY wanted to spice up the dunk contest, they'd take NBA player OUT of it entirely and instead have NBA players serve as "honorary coaches" or "representatives/sponsors" of these types of nikkas. It's all about giving the fans a show ANYWAY, and as you can see from the video it wouldn't be a problem to get corporate sponsors for it since Sprite and Nike were two of the main sponsors of the showcases you saw in this video.

Like, LeBron endorses Dobbs, Kobe endorses somebody, etc. Grand prize is $100,000, with $50,000 going to the dunker and the other $50,000 going to the charity of the NBA player's choosing.

EVERYBODY wins....

....cause if that Kenny Dobbs dude did that "Under Both Over Someone" dunk he did in this video, I think the crowd would lose their damn minds at NBA All-Star Weekend....and isn't that the point?

That's crazy that no one in the NBA has ever done a 360 Eastbay during the dunk contest. The NBA dudes aint got the creativity these nikkas got. I think Gerald Green could do some of the dunks in that video, maybe Russell Westbrook if he practiced at it im sure he could do T-Dub's windmill over a standing person.

Jus Fly might be the highest jumping dude i've ever seen in my life :mindblown:

Some of these dunks dont make no sense. Like how are you physically possible to throw an alley-oop to your self and then go UNDER your legs while jumping over somebody?

It's cause the NBA is still hoping for the popularity boost that the player's get from winning the dunk contest which you can't really argue with. Yeah if they brought in amateurs All Star Saturday would be more popular but in the long run it doesn't make anyone want to go to any games. Meanwhile if Blake Griffin wins they can hope that more people would be willing to pay and come watch him in games.
