I went with my father and my sister when i was 10, the scenes remain in my head until today
Which scenes?
I have a disdain for this movie just because it will forever be compared with Menace 2 Society, and I think Meance was clearly better. shyt, I think Meance 2 Society is the greatest movie of all time
Plus, Trey was such a hoe ass nikka.
Crying to get p*ssy
Making up a whole elaborate lie about getting p*ssy and telling his dad. Then telling him he went raw. nikka it's a lie, why say you didn't strap up
Acting like his hoe ass was a rider, then telling them nikkas to stop the car and let him out when he knew his bytch ass wasn't never bout that life in the first place
Going from super dark skinned when he was a kid to a light skin nikka when he got older
Many, especially the drive-by shooting and the final where Cube smoke the goons in cold blood
Also, can not forget Laurence Fishburne playing the role of a great father trying to get his son off the streets
Don't be a Menace somewhat ruined the movie for me
I get mind flashes in certain BNTH scenes and can't help but
yeah i got his character's role, i just dont like dude as an actor. the only thing ive ever seen him really act in was men of honor, he killed that role. he just had so many cringeworthy scenes and lines in boyzi wish John never used him
Me too. It's a shame Morehouse and Spelman college went over my head. I realized they attend HBCUS I like how John put it out There as well.
I wonder if audiences then or now know about Spelhouse?

but then again, maybe he really was the best for the part wouldnt be the same movie without him
Either they dont know or dont show

One of my older sisters went to Spelman (class of '02) and talks about it from time to time.
