my thought was that, it kinda was his fault. remember when they were just talkin shyt after the dude bumped him, and then doughboy went to go pull the gun out? that took it to another level. so maybe she 'knew' he had something to do with it without knowing exactly, dough being around that shyt and she could just guess, idk. u saw dough just look guilty and not argue with her

whatd i think? pretty powerful fukkin movie. some of it could have been done better, some of the lines, cuba was corny as fukk but i havent liked cuba in almost any movie he's ever done. and obviously theres shyt in there i dont relate to overall that was a hell of a fukkin achievement for a 23 year old or however old singleton was, like someone said earlier

i liked that scene where the dude gave ricky the ball back

Nah. What it was they got into a fight before he was killed. She snapped, confused, hurt, angry she just snapped on doughboy.

They took him home so his mom, girlfriend and son can say their farewell. Plus if they took Ricky to the hospital, the police would be there.

Oh yeah the OG giving Ricky the ball was nice.

I'm still tryna figure out what that song in that scene really is. Everyone says it's Ice Cube Bird in the hand but anybody that knows music should be able to tell that it's not bird in the hand. Plus that album came out like two years after this movie. I wonder if it's an earlier version of the song or maybe some underground Cali rappers. May never know between this track and the House Party 2 movie version of Ralph Tresvant Yo baby Yo this shyt is gonna drive me crazy.
