Wtf world ive been livin for that last 13 years. I never heard anyone ever say Pimp destroyed that track. I never knew people felt his verse like that. I always remember there was people who felt Bun ripped it most. But never did i hear in the 13 years that song been out of hearing anyone say Pimp murdered that track. I guess death really does overrate u.

its a bama thing.

don't know if this one has been mentioned yet but Eminem on forgot about Dre is the definition of killing someone on their own shyt

his verse is :whew:

didnt he write the whole song?

how can you kill dre anyway? hes not a rapper.

Eminem spit arguably his best verses ever on Renegade.

Jay's verses were dope, but not at that level. If you made a list of top 50 Jay verses, they wouldn't be there.

You can't just give Jay-Z the win just because he's black.

nobody is giving jay the win just because hes black.

i dont see how this is considered one of eminem's best verses either. it was type cheesy.

One thing is for sure, Jay has the most sensitive fans on here.

UGK made that Big Pimpin song, Jay doesn't just go around adding second verses to songs for no reason. You know why he did it, don't be foolish. Bun ripped the track and Pimp laid the swagger down.

Jay verses were good on Renegade but Em blacked out, and what worse is that Em's verses were pre-recorded, so its not like Em was competing with Jay, he was competing with Royce, Jay had the advantage of already hearing Em's verses and still couldn't manage to out rap him on that track.

So, no Bone Thugs (more specifically Bizzy, but you can make a case for all of them) murdering Biggie on "Notorious Thugs?" Of course the east coast STILL think Biggie did Bone's own style better.

^^haha. bone portion of the thread.

-bizzy verse was superior to biggie's. it'll never make a list like this tho.
-and yea, bizzy got jim jones too. @StillNotSoft called that one already tho.
-how about layzie & krayzie tossing twista on that song for adrenaline rush 2.
-layzie owning krayzie on every track he did for tm99.

they took Ls too tho:
-silkk the shocker showing bone thugs how its done on "hook it up".
-da brat merking krayzie on all 3 tracks they did together.

Never heard that Silk the Shocker joint, but Krayzie got Da Brat on "Let's All Get High." It's not even that Da Brat was bad (she was spittin), but Krayzie's charisma outshined her in that song.

@Po pimp

gotta disagree with that one. in krayzie's defense, he only went in on one song they did together - the joint for jd's album.

The original "Quiet Storm" is classic but the remix is timeless. Lil Kim Bodied Mobb Deep on that. She was flowing so hard it was like the ghost of Big was in her cause she went in on that track:

Obviously by the responses, Im probably gonna be the only person who disagrees with the list.

Looking at the list of songs, I really cant say anybody got murdered on their own shyt. Are there some memorable performances on some? Hell yeah. But in 90% of these songs, everyone came correct.

I mean look at "The Scenario" by Tribe. Busta just came with a hyped out style that stood out. But everyone came correct.

I'll continue to look at y'alls responses tho. Nas said this about Em vs Jay which was said to fukk with Jay. I think Jay did well on that song. I love Renegade as a whole..

Yo, I was about to go IN until I saw their top four....so nah, I'm good with this EXCEPT:

8. The Game f/ 50 Cent "Hate It Or Love It" (2005) : 50 Cent

:duck: , and

6. Jay-Z f/ Kanye West & Rihanna “Run This Town” (2009) : Kanye West
5. Kanye West f/ Jay-Z "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" (Remix) (2005) :Jay-Z

...these are WAY, WAY too high. :comeon: at these being ranked ahead of some of the others mentioned in the Top 20, even....."Run This Town" higher than "Scenario"?!? :childplease: Busta BIRTHED nikkas' styles with that damn song, WTF...
