Quick recap. The first half, Jack was trying to protect the so-called Saudi/Pakastani president which ended up being a failure. Jack said fucck it, a loss is a loss and went home to make love with his new soul mate. One of the Russian hitmen/sniper shot and killed his girlfriend through the window which sent Jack into a blind crazed maniac willing to go after and kill virtually EVERYONE that was involved and started a one man war against the entire country of Russia to include almost assassinating the Russian President. It left the United States with no choice to kill him before he initiates a war between themselves and Russia, since Jack gave no fuccks of the consequences and almost sent out a drone to murk his ass until Chole bailed him out and he went into hiding.
THIS IS WHY THE RUSSIAN HAVE A SPECIAL KIND OF BEEF WITH HIM THIS SEASON and why he's a wanted man at the beginning of the season.
