Who takes this and why?
I think Ali has a chance if he learns take down defense and is fast enough to evade kicks and those vicious oblique kicks.Jon Jones.
It's a street fight, not a boxing match.
MMA is more versatile and more adept at handling the countless uncontrollable and unpredictable variables of a street fight, than boxing is.
Do not for one second make you think that boxing is anything short of extremely effective in a street fight, though.
It's just not "as" effective as MMA, if the two are being weighed against one another under those conditions.

ali,
jon jones admits mike tyson would kill him
No I'm just bringing up a good strategy for Ali. Just saying he's a really skilled boxer really diverse he's kind of like the Jon Jones of his generation be rarly fights anyone up close and utilizes his reach and diverse style. That's why I think this fight would be interesting they're almost like parallels to each other. Of course each fighter before nearing each other in the street are going to work on what they need to beat the other.Breh, if you're going to start adding in all kinds of "bububuts" and "what if's", then the possibilities become endless, rendering this thread virtually pointless.
Tyson grew up fighting in the streets though. Dude is a savage and street fighting is his element. Him and Ali's chances of beating Jones in a street fight are not the same. Ali was a highly skilled boxer but being skilled in the ring/cage doesn't necessarily mean one is going to be beast in the streets, although a trained person will always have a distinct advantage over an unskilled person regardless. I have Jones beating Ali simply because he's more well rounded. Ali shyts on Jones in boxing, but Jones shyts on Ali in everything else.
In the ring no doubt James Tillis tried to bite off Ali's style and only half did it and make Tyson look like shyt. You don't know anything about Ali
Ali in his early 20's was a supreme athlete on some roy jones shyt, he would kick Tyson's ass
Ali wasn't even touchable until after he was on the shelf for 3 years and near 30 year olds
jon jones just lacks the skill and coordination to deal with someone like that seriously
also boxing skill is all you need to end a street fight in a few seconds
also what makes you think a boxer would follow boxing rules in a street fight when they break the rules in the ring all the time

No disrespect, but you're not really this stupid are you breh?
They aren't remotely "parallels of each other". Not in size, not in strengths, not in height, not in fighting.
Furthermore, how the hell you figure Ali's reach would be a factor?
You coli n!ggas talk outcha asses more than yall sh!t outta them.

"butbutbut Ali's jab "
fukk Ali's reach. He'll be eating these the entire time trying to step in so that he can "jab"
Fighters get better as time goes on. Tyson said it as well. But Tyson always had the respect for Muhammad not to say he would have beaten him That said Ali and the boxers of that age struggled badly against catch wrestlers, let alone a 2010's MMA genius like Jon Jones.
