Funny to me cuz on one hand I get how that kind of talk has led to violence against Jews and it is a stereotype. On the other hand though, my instincts are telling me the Jewish folks stating that they're offended are being disingenuous. It's the same disingenuous attitude they exude anytime someone objectively criticizes Israel and like clockwork that person is accused of anti-semitism. As a result the conversation is stifled and non-bigoted people critical of Israel are muzzled. That's the objective, keep folks quiet.
So ask yourself, why don't they like any discussion about them even when it's not anti-semitic in context and really the sentiments are expressions of admiration? When you think about it, they're an insular community and their success in many ways is related to their in house way of doing business. So by default people outside their community are going to have observations. I didn't say opinions, I said observations. Jews don't like that for some reason though. For as much property, wealth, political and social power they've accumulated, they don't like scrutiny. When they yell anti-semitism, they act like someone who doesn't want to get caught.
