Fox Sets Fantastic Four Reboot Cast
Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell reportedly tapped for title roles.

20th Century Fox has reportedly chosen their new Fantastic Four.

According to Variety, long-rumored contenders Miles Teller (Divergent), Kate Mara(House of Cards), and Michael B. Jordan (Chronicle) officially have offers to play Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, and Human Torch, respectively, while Tintin and Nymphomaniac actor Jamie Bell is the studio's pick to play the Thing.

The trade says there's no offer out to Bell yet, but he's "expected" to accept the role. Variety says "Bell came into the mix after Fox resumed screen tests."

The hunt is now on for an actor to play the villain, which prior reports claim will be the FF's arch-nemesis Doctor Doom. Actors are expected to be tested for the villain role within the next few weeks.

Variety also says this reboot will be based on the Ultimate Fantastic Four series from Marvel Comics. Josh Trank will direct from a newly revised script by Simon Kinberg.

The Fantastic Four opens June 19, 2015.

‘Fantastic Four’ Actors FINALLY Revealed

The wait and the director twitter fake denials are finally over. The Fantastic Four reboot finally rounded out it’s cast. My boy Jeff Sneider over at The Wrap bagged the exclusive and is reporting that Kate Mara got the offer to play Sue Storm, Michael B Jordan will play the Human Torch, Jamie Bell is in negotiations to play Ben Grimm aka The Thing, and Miles Tellar is also in negotiations to play Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic.

Meh. Pass.

Seriously, I got zero faith in Marvel movies made at Fox hence why I stopped tracking them. TheFantastic Four reboot script has already seen a revolving door of screenwriters so that is cause for concern. I do have faith though in director Josh Trank and Chronicle was a dope movie so I’m rooting for him to make me a believer. Fantastic Four plot details are being kept under wraps so that scoop hounds like yours truly don’t spoil the movie.

I'm going to love it if this movie is good and the cast impresses. It's just the rebel in me plus I hate group think. This is a movie "the internet" seems to be against so vehemently, although when you look at the cast, regardless if you agree with the choices or not, they're all good or great actors. It's just that movie that "the internet" wants to fail and I hate shyt like that. Let that boy Josh Trank and his cast cook.

My issue isn't even with Jordan as much as it is with Miles Teller and Jamie Bell. While having a black Johnny but a white Sue makes no sense whatsoever and feels like stunt casting, at least those two can fit the roles. Miles Teller however is a short, flabby nerd and Jamie Bell a lean, slim Brit. How these two are supposed to convincingly play a brilliant super genius and a big old school New York street brawler is beyond me. Now that I think about it, with the added rumors of a female Dr Doom, this whole movie is starting to feel like random casting for the sake of random casting.

Well damn. That shyt was quiet as fukk. Happy for MBJ but still it's a lot against this movie but I have faith in Josh Trank.
