Lakers
Styles make fights. Those teams were also more familar with the Pistons. And if we keeping it a stack the Lakers didnt take them seriously. Pistons were the ultimate team...in lock step on both ends. And everybody was in their prime save Tayshaun. Outside of Kobe the Lakers was old and slow. Kobes J wasnt off...he was taking horrible shots over a dude with a 7'4 wingspan. Pistons and the sidekick shyt got in his head.
No it was off. He was missing shots he’d normally make. Now of course he took bad shots but even when he got good looks his shot was off. And he couldn’t into the paint or ft line to supplement it

He took 23 3s in 5 games. He took 30 during the entire 3peat. More than a couple were deep 3s too. The Pistons defensive strategy was to goad him into bad shots while letting Shaq abuse Ben Wallace one on one and it worked.
