I was listening to Pod Save America last night and they were talking about knocking door to door and you could tell how exasperated they were that on nearly every door they knocked nobody gave a fukk about policy.

There was one Asian old lady they spoke with who could barely speak English and she said “oh isn’t Kamala going to let in the migrants”. They explained to her all of Kamala’s policies and how she is going to make her pills cheaper and the Asian lady said “ok ok I vote for Kamala I promise”


At the time I was like “good job guys” convinced a voter. Now I know that Asian lady was full of shyt and either didn’t vote or voted for Trump.

Its hard to say what the future of the Democratic party will be. I think you're right that more of the focus will be on courting the Latino vote from here on out though.

People should calm down. What you are seeing is the same thing that happened in 2020. It's called a red mirage in which Trump appears to be winning, then Democrat votes come in near the end. Also as they move West, Harris will continue to gain in the electoral college with Cali, Washington, Oregon.

Biden was behind in Georgia and PA until the very end when votes came in from heavy Democrat areas. Right now the same thing is happening with Harris.
