He’s only gonna be in office for 1 term, so I wonder how he’s gonna handle other candidates vying for presidency while he’s on his way out. I doubt he’ll deal with it gracefully.

He will be kept in as a Puppet and figurehead - he is the one who made all their conservative dreams come true. They gave him immunity already ain't no sentencing coming

The problem with this is, you can't fight in two corners at once, especially in the climate we're in (where men and female are in absolutes, politcally); there's nothing that will redefine what masculinity is if the Right already has ahold of that definition with both hands and won't let go. How can the Democrats fight for the equality of women (whilst the opposition is putting men at the forefront), while also fighting for what is masculine?

Trying to divy up their energy, resources and favor between the two means they won't get either women or men on their side. Women will feel they're not at the forefront, and men will feel they're not at the forefront, and then they're in danger of losing both.

And look, the figurehead here for what is masculine is a convicted criminal and known rapist (who exemplifies the benefits of white privlege), so if this is something that these traditional men either ignore or identify with, than what could the Democrats possibly harness to get that demographic on side that won't put a foul taste in the mouths of their supporters who're already fighting against this?

Trump fought in two corners at once…and it looks like it worked. My point was, the Democrats were far too late. Women’s role in society is changing and so is men’s for the past decade and some change, what masculinity was and even the fact that it didn’t have to be mutually exclusive with supporting women was all up for the taking. But the Democrats let the Republicans pick up the pieces. They could’ve done both at the same time. But they chose one. I don’t believe that it would be divvying up their energy and half assing two things instead of doing one thing right. This is America, all you do is balance various groups, even when their interests are in conflict. If you can’t keep various demographics happy in the Melting Pot, what the fukk are you even doing in politics in the US? Obama did it because he didn’t push any issues or make them the face of his campaign that were directed towards a specific demographic…It was finding the thread between all the various groups. Again, charisma helps enormously here.


The people who support Trump don’t see him as a rapist or a felon, that’s why. Because they think it’s politically motivated or a smear campaign. Thats the benefit they get from encouraging a cult like mindset. They could’ve got someone that would’ve stooped to Donald Trumps level…You don’t beat a bully by ignoring them, you beat them by quite literally beating them. Newsome, Wes Moore, hell even Gretchen Whitmer would’ve actually made Trump look like a punk. They would’ve had much more catchier and insulting things than just calling Trump “weird” every time they spoke. They’d sling shyt right back at him, give a damn if it’s “childish” or crass. None of this “I want to bring us back normalcy” “Everything is going to be ok”…holding hands saying “We are not going back” that’s mad feminine messaging. Thats passive, take “Change” vs “We are not going back” essentially the same message, but one is an active more masculine voice…We’re bringing the change…the past doesn’t make us afraid, it’s not even our minds, we’re focused on the future.
